Translation rates

Our general price for professional translations is almost 25% lower than other agencies, dependent upon:
-Target and source language
-Total word count-Degree of technicality of terminology
-Deadlines (i.e., Is this a rush job?)
(Texts of over 10,000 words: rate decreases by $0.05, depending upon type of text.)

We generally work at the pace of 2,000 source words per day on each individual project to ensure quality.

If a quick deadline must be met(e.g., 5,000 words per day), and additional translators must work on the project simultaneously, the rate will increase accordingly and also depending upon the difficulty of terminology.

Weekend rates do apply in certain circumstances.

Minimum charge is $70.00 per project.

Certified legal translation: additional $35.00 charge, which includes California State notarization

*For example, the cost of a French>English translation of a basic marketing text of 4,000 words may be at the basic per-word rate(25% less than most agencies), whereas the same text of 50,000 words may be charged $0.05 less than the basic rate, depending on the requested delivery date.

Legal texts with highly specialized terminology: varies from standard rate by $0.05 more or less per word, depending on the requested delivery date. Simple contracts, $0.01 less than basic rate.

The basic rate for an English into German, Russian, or Czech professional translation, for example, varies from standard rate by $0.05 more or less per word, depending upon the difficulty of terminology. German, Russian, or Czech translation into English, at standard 25% discount rate.

General rate for Italian, French, Spanish > English target language: varies within $0.02 of standard discount rate.
If it is a rush translation (24 hours or less)of a 4,000 word document from/to these particular languages, the rate may increase by $0.04-0.08/word

Translation of texts in format other than MSWord(e.g., PDF files, faxed documents) may be charged slightly extra.

PaymentWithin 14 days from date of invoice. Standard method is direct transfer/wire transfer of funds.Checks accepted from clients in the USA. Bank must be located in the USA if payment is by check.Alternative methods of payment are Paypal/Moneybookers.

New Projects

New projects in 2007 and beginning of 2008 include a 40,000- word document on office Internet network construction specifications and global cellphones. We have translated these documents into Japanese, German, Italian, French, Spanish and Korean.

Other projects are French>English translations of legal documents for the acquisition of campus properties in Switzerland by a Southern Californian private university.

In addition to this , we have been translating a lot of birth certificates, marriage certificates, diplomas, transcripts, and other documents for client's immigration documentation in French and Spanish.

Branching out to Spain, Costa del Sol






The manager of Los Angeles Translation Service, all-texts.com, recently sojourned in Malaga, Spain for three months.

While there, he began setting up UK-Iberia, an agency that sends interpreters on assignments on the Costa del Sol.


Propitious interviews with Spanish, European , and American interpreters and translators was part of laying the groundwork for UK-Iberia. Additionally, he conducted meetings with local businessmen.
